The Advocate Arms Hotel was opened on 1st December 2008 after undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment after I purchased what was known as The Gordon Arms Hotel in 2007; the building had been in decline for many years and was desperate for some TLC.
In the kitchen, Head Chef Josh Kelly oversees a young, but very talented brigade of chefs who are committed to serving you great quality fayre at any time of day.
Josh has a butchery background having worked in the butchers at Caistor for a number of years and often puts these skills to good use here in our kitchen.
The Advocate Arms team received their 1st Rosette in 2012 and since Josh and the team proudly achieved our 2nd Rosette last year and have retained this prestigious award for 2017. In addition to this we are 5 star and Michelin Guide Recommended.
Our General Manager is Scott Dunn, who has worked in a number of prestigious hotels including the Doubletree by Hilton in Lincoln and the Oaklands Hall Hotel near Grimsby, gaining a wealth of knowledge surrounding Food, Beverage and Accommodation.
Katie Kireja is our Assistant Manager, working alongside Scott to oversee the customer service for all of our guests.
